Page Generator Pro Review: Price, Features and SEO Risks

Page Generator Pro builds hundreds of WordPress pages from one template, from $99 a year. Our review: features, verified pricing and the Google spam risks.

In short: Page Generator Pro is a WordPress plugin that mass-produces pages, posts or products from one template and a data source, starting at $99 a year. It saves enormous time when every page rests on genuinely different data, and it puts your rankings at risk when it is used to churn out hundreds of near-identical pages, a practice Google has explicitly treated as spam since March 2024.

This review is based on the publisher’s documentation and pricing page, checked in November 2026 (version 6.0.9, released November 2, 2026), and on Google’s published spam policies. This page contains no affiliate link.

What is Page Generator Pro?

The idea fits in one sentence: you build a template page with variables, connect a list of data, and the plugin creates one page per row. Put a {city} variable in the title and body, connect a list of 50 cities, and you get 50 pages.

The plugin generates pages, posts, WooCommerce products or custom post types on your own WordPress install. The main features listed by the publisher:

  • Data sources: CSV files, spreadsheets, Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion and databases, among others.
  • Built-in geographic data: about 2.6 million cities and towns, 45,000 counties, 4,000 states or regions and 250 countries.
  • AI content: connections to more than ten providers (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, OpenRouter and others) using your own API key.
  • Text variation: spintax, on top of AI.
  • Dynamic elements: maps, images, Wikipedia excerpts, videos.
  • Automatic internal linking between generated pages.
  • SEO plugin integration: titles, descriptions and schema for Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress and others.
  • Page builders: more than 25, including Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Bricks and Beaver Builder.
  • Background generation through WP-CLI, plus Polylang and WPML support for multilingual sites.
  • An MCP server included on every license, so an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can drive page creation.

Requirements: a self-hosted WordPress site (or WordPress.com on the Business plan or higher), WordPress 5.0 or later and PHP 8.0 or later. Since the plugin can create hundreds of pages in one run, the quality of your web hosting matters more than usual.

How much does Page Generator Pro cost?

Here is the price list we checked in November 2026, in US dollars:

PlanPriceSitesTerm
Single$99 per year1Updates and support for one year, renewable
Unlimited$199 per yearUnlimited, multisite supportedUpdates and support for one year, renewable
Lifetime$299 one timeUnlimitedLifetime
Agency Lifetime$399 one timeUnlimitedLifetime, plus client sites and white labeling

The publisher presents these as discounts from higher struck-through prices ($149, $299, $449 and $599), and a seasonal coupon code was running on the page when we checked. A full refund, no questions asked, is available within 14 days of the first purchase.

For long-term use on several sites, the Lifetime license pays for itself by year two against Unlimited (2 × $199 = $398, against $299 once). For a test on one site, Single is enough, or start with the free version.

What does Google say about mass-generated pages?

This is the part most reviews skip. On March 5, 2024, Google announced three new spam policies, one of them on scaled content abuse. Its spam policies now define it as “when many pages are generated for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings,” and add that the policy applies “no matter how it’s created.” Among the examples Google lists: using generative AI or similar tools to generate many pages without adding value for users, and stitching together existing content without adding anything.

The doorway abuse policy is even more directly relevant to this kind of tool. Its examples include “multiple domain names or pages targeted at specific regions or cities that funnel users to one page,” and substantially similar pages that sit closer to search results than to a browsable site structure.

Put plainly, the scenario sold by most tutorials, “plumber + 300 towns,” is exactly what Google describes. According to Google, sites that break these policies can rank lower or disappear from results entirely.

When is Page Generator Pro the right tool?

The tool earns its place when every page has a reason to exist for the reader. The test: if you swapped the city name for another one, would the page still be accurate? If yes, it offers nothing specific.

Good uses:

  • A network of 40 branches, each with its own address, hours, team, reviews and local projects.
  • A technical product catalog whose spec sheets are fed by a database or a PIM system.
  • A directory, comparison site or public-data site where every page shows its own numbers (prices, statistics, specifications).

Bad uses:

  • Town-by-town pages for a business with no office and no projects to show in those towns. Local visibility comes from a complete Google Business Profile and one page per real location.
  • Spun text to hide duplication. Spintax changes the words, not the information.
  • Hundreds of AI-written pages on long-tail queries, with no review and no data of your own.

How do you use it without hurting your SEO?

If your project passes the test, here is a cautious method:

  1. Start from data, not keywords. List what you know that is different about each entity. Fewer than three unique facts per page, and the project does not hold up.
  2. Check demand. Each page should match a real search, with a search intent your template actually satisfies.
  3. Test with ten pages, published gradually, and watch their indexing in Google Search Console for several weeks.
  4. Read a sample: if you would not publish a page by hand, do not publish it at scale.
  5. Plan for maintenance. 300 pages means 300 pages to update when a fact changes. Connect the template to a live source (spreadsheet, database) rather than a frozen export.

Page Generator Pro pros and cons

Pros

  • The most complete plugin of its kind for WordPress: data sources, page builders, SEO plugins, multilingual.
  • A lifetime license is available, attractive for an agency or a publisher running several sites.
  • Actively maintained: version 6.0.9 shipped on November 2, 2026, and the plugin is tested with WordPress 7.0.
  • A free version to understand how it works before buying.

Cons

  • It makes it easy to do exactly what Google penalizes. Responsibility for how it is used rests entirely with you.
  • Built-in AI requires an API key billed separately by the provider you choose.
  • Once hundreds of pages are live, your site depends on the plugin to manage them.
  • Lifetime pricing is a bet on the publisher staying in business.

Our verdict

Page Generator Pro is a solid production tool for anyone who holds real data to publish. It is not a shortcut to rank for queries you have no content for. If your project fits the good uses above, the free version is a sensible first step before buying. If it does not, read our list of SEO mistakes to avoid before investing, and look at how SEO for startups builds visibility with fewer, better pages.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Page Generator Pro cost?

According to WP Zinc's pricing page in November 2026: $99 a year for one site, $199 a year for unlimited sites, $299 one time for the Lifetime license and $399 one time for Agency Lifetime, which adds client sites and white labeling. The publisher shows these as discounts from higher list prices and offers a 14-day refund on the first purchase.

Is Page Generator Pro bad for SEO?

The tool itself is not, but the way it is used can be. Google's spam policies target creating many pages mainly to manipulate rankings without helping users, no matter how the pages are produced, and they name city or region pages that all funnel visitors to the same place as doorway abuse. Unique data per page is what keeps you on the right side.

Is there a free version of Page Generator Pro?

Yes. WP Zinc publishes a free plugin, listed on WordPress.org as Page Generator, with 3,000+ active installations. It lets you test keyword placeholders, a page template and test mode. The Pro version adds CSV and remote data imports, posts and custom post types, page builder support, WP-CLI generation, AI content and SEO plugin integrations.

What kind of site is Page Generator Pro good for?

It suits a site that holds genuinely different data for each page: a network of branches with their own address, team and reviews, a technical catalog fed by a product database, or a directory built on a real dataset. It is a poor fit for a contractor who wants one page per town with nothing specific to say about each one.
